Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year strategic foresight framework for industry disruption patterns
- Lead scenario planning workshops to model potential futures for emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning across biotech, AI ethics, climate resilience, and quantum computing
- Translate future trends into product development roadmaps and investment priorities
- Author quarterly trend briefings for executive leadership and board members
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions with 2026 market readiness
- Establish metrics for tracking early signals of paradigm shifts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years in strategy consulting or innovation leadership with tech focus
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenario work
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term strategy
