Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market trends affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models for long-term strategic planning
- Produce annual '2026 Readiness Reports' with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Coordinate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market demands
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies across departments
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and technological indicators for early-warning systems
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven experience with horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, journals, books)
- Experience developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
