Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients in renewable energy and biotech sectors
- Lead high-stakes workshops with C-suite executives to build 2026 strategic roadmaps
- Author white papers published in journals like Future Studies Review
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio testing quantum-encrypted AI applications
- Represent the firm at Davos, CES, and other global futurism forums
- Mentor a team of 8 futurists using our proprietary Temporal Analysis Methodology
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in strategic foresight
- Published author in peer-reviewed futurism journals or books with >1,000 citations
- Expertise in modeling complex systems using tools like Stella Architect or AnyLogic
- Proven track record advising C-suite on tech disruption (portfolio required)
- Proficiency in predictive analytics and Monte Carlo simulations
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience securing grants from NSF or DARPA for future-tech initiatives
- Fluency in at least two major languages beyond English
