Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging trends across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and sustainable energy through proprietary foresight methodologies
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 2026-2030 product ecosystem expansions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions with 3-5 year market impact
- Present trend briefings to executive stakeholders and board members quarterly
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs to scout disruptive technologies
- Author annual 'Horizon Report' outlining disruptive threats and opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight projects
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS) strongly preferred
