Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 strategic vision roadmap for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional Future Labs initiatives with 15+ engineers and researchers
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D funding through investor relations and grant applications
- Pioneer industry-first partnerships with academia, government, and Fortune 500 companies
- Author quarterly trend briefings for the board and C-suite executives
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for breakthrough innovations
- Mentor a global team of futurists, PhD researchers, and technology strategists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or relevant STEM field
- Proven track record of launching $5M+ R&D initiatives
- Expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Executive-level experience with Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Published thought leader in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional stakeholder management across global C-suite, investors, and regulators
