Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026+ technological inflection points
- Architect future-proof product frameworks using systems thinking and scenario planning
- Facilitate C-suite workshops on exponential technologies and their business implications
- Build partnerships with academic labs and innovation ecosystems to capture frontier insights
- Quantify future opportunities through predictive modeling and market simulation
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech) within product pipelines
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or Innovation Management
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, product innovation, or emerging tech analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial innovations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Network)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable impact
