This hybrid role combines strategic policy development with hands-on compliance auditing, reporting directly to our Chief Ethics Officer. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and legal to embed ethical safeguards into our AI lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for 2026-era autonomous systems
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning models
- Establish compliance protocols for emerging AI regulations (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Lead stakeholder engagements to align AI development with ethical principles
- Monitor global AI policy evolution and update compliance strategies accordingly
- Train cross-functional teams on responsible AI development practices
- Author transparency reports for high-impact AI deployments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Computer Science, Law, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 3+ years experience in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Deep understanding of machine learning fairness metrics and bias mitigation techniques
- Familiarity with global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethically Aligned Design) required
- Experience with adversarial testing and robustness evaluation of AI systems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical ethics concepts
