Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely handle packages and pallets using appropriate equipment.
- Picking and packing: Select products from the warehouse floor and prepare them for shipment according to company standards.
- Inventory management: Assist with cycle counts and maintaining accurate stock levels over the weekend shift.
- Equipment operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and within weight limits.
- Quality assurance: Inspect shipments for damage and ensure all labeling is correct.
- Maintain safety standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and keep the workspace clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Attention to detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and maintain high accuracy rates.
