Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for weekend and temporary positions across Oakland's tech, healthcare, and logistics sectors
- Manage full recruitment lifecycle including job postings, candidate assessments, and offer negotiations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key hiring managers at partner companies
- Conduct in-person and virtual interviews during weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday)
- Utilize applicant tracking systems to track candidate pipelines and placement metrics
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates during non-traditional hours
- Collaborate with weekday recruiters to ensure seamless handoffs and candidate continuity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recruitment/staffing experience with weekend shift availability
- Proven track record of placing candidates in technical or healthcare roles
- Expertise in applicant tracking systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Workday)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
- Strong knowledge of Oakland's job market and industry trends
- Relevant certification (e.g., CIR, CSP) preferred
- Valid driver's license for occasional candidate/client meetings
