Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for hardware and software issues encountered by internal staff.
- Manage and resolve help desk tickets escalated to the weekend support queue with a 4-hour response time guarantee.
- Perform on-site troubleshooting for workstations, printers, and network connectivity in the Columbus area.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software updates.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and incident reports in the IT Service Management (ITSM) system.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and provide exceptional customer service during peak weekend hours.
- Collaborate with the on-call team lead to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of service.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- CompTIA A+ Certification or equivalent IT support experience is required.
- Proven experience providing technical support, preferably in a contract or temporary capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for on-site visits within Columbus.
