Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues during weekend shifts
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and peripheral devices
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot critical incidents with SLA adherence
- Document technical procedures and create detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with weekday IT teams for seamless handover and continuity
- Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies
- Train end-users on system usage and best practices
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience with Windows/macOS environments
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Reliable transportation for on-site support in Detroit area
- Must be available Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM shifts)
