Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure issues.
- Manage and resolve escalated help desk tickets with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patch management, and security audits during off-hours.
- Monitor server health and application performance to prevent weekend downtime.
- Conduct on-site training for internal staff regarding new software deployments.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to document technical procedures and updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or help desk environments.
- Strong proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Experience with remote access tools (TeamViewer, RDP) and VPN configurations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Reliable transportation for occasional on-site visits within Austin.
