Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Organize, sort, and stock inventory in designated warehouse areas according to company protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
- Operate warehouse machinery and scanning equipment to ensure accurate data logging.
- Follow all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and shipping targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy and the ability to use handheld scanners.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse facility.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
