Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and sort incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accurate inventory placement.
- Equipment Operation: Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts), pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels using our inventory management systems.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to streamline workflows and meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and the ability to read labels and barcodes.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to safety protocols.
