Responsibilities
- Receive and Verify: Inspect incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely and efficient manner.
- Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels using warehouse management software.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Customer Support: Communicate effectively with team leads and resolve any discrepancies regarding orders.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for immediate hires.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with handheld scanners.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable mode of transportation and a history of punctuality.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in data entry and inventory management.
