Responsibilities
- Lead Design Strategy: Spearhead the design process from concept to final delivery, ensuring a cohesive user journey across all touchpoints.
- Prototyping & Interaction: Create high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and fully designed UI screens using industry-standard tools like Figma.
- User Research: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and competitive analysis to validate design assumptions and drive data-informed decisions.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers and software engineers to translate business goals into intuitive design solutions.
- System Management: Contribute to and refine our design system, ensuring consistency and scalability of our brand assets.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders with confidence, advocating for the user.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile applications.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Methodology: Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability testing.
- Flexibility: Must be available for approximately 20-25 hours per week as a part-time contractor.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design ideas clearly.
