Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes for government digital platforms
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design mockups
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (dev, product, stakeholders)
- Develop design systems and maintain component libraries
- Present design solutions to senior leadership and client stakeholders
- Ensure ADA/WCAG compliance for all deliverables
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX design experience with federal/government projects
- Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design
- Experience with user research methodologies and testing
- Knowledge of Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 standards
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
