Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance software applications using modern languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews, perform unit testing, and ensure code quality and security standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex system issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Optimize application performance and refactor legacy codebases for scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and participate in technical architecture planning sessions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in a contract or full-time capacity.
- Strong proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, React, or Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote-first or hybrid setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
