Join InnovateDC Tech as a Senior UX Designer for an exciting 6-month contract opportunity in the heart of Washington DC. You'll craft intuitive digital experiences for federal agency clients while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design for SaaS platforms serving federal agencies
- Conduct user research, persona development, and journey mapping
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to implement designs
- Present design solutions to C-level stakeholders and government clients
- Establish design systems and component libraries
- Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback
Qualifications
- 5+ years of UX design experience with government/enterprise projects
- Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating complex system design
- Experience with Section 508/WCAG compliance
- Ability to translate policy requirements into intuitive interfaces
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Master's degree in HCI, Design, or related field
