Responsibilities
- Manage and Optimize IT Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance and performance of on-premise and cloud-based systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot complex network hardware and software solutions for enterprise clients.
- Security Compliance: Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams in deploying new software updates and hardware upgrades on schedule.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve technical issues and negotiate service level agreements (SLAs).
- Technical Support: Provide advanced troubleshooting and guidance to internal staff and external clients regarding technical inquiries.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or a similar technical role.
- Certifications: Active certifications such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Solutions Architect, or CCNP are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, Windows Server, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be willing to work on-site in San Diego, CA, with the flexibility to support urgent technical issues outside of standard hours.
