The Role:
You will be responsible for optimizing the technical foundation of our clients' websites to ensure maximum crawlability, indexability, and relevance. You will work closely with developers and content strategists to implement scalable SEO solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive site audits to identify and rectify technical roadblocks affecting crawlability and indexability.
- Optimize site architecture and internal linking structures to maximize topical authority and user journey efficiency.
- Implement and audit schema markup (JSON-LD, Microdata) to enhance rich snippets and search engine understanding.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) to ensure optimal page performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to resolve JavaScript rendering issues and ensure proper indexing of dynamic content.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies focused on acquiring high-authority, relevant backlinks.
- Perform regular competitive analysis to identify keyword opportunities and content gaps.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive experience in technical SEO, preferably within a high-traffic or enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical troubleshooting and implementation.
- Deep understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and third-party SEO auditing tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog).
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress, Drupal, or Headless CMS like Contentful or Strapi).
- Knowledge of server-side technologies (Apache, Nginx, IIS) and basic HTTP headers (robots.txt, sitemaps, canonical tags).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable technical recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
