Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify crawl errors, indexability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate closely with web developers and engineers to implement schema markup, canonicalization, and robots.txt directives.
- Analyze Core Web Vitals metrics and implement strategies to improve site speed and user experience.
- Optimize site architecture and internal linking structures to maximize crawl budget and user flow.
- Monitor search console data and analytics to identify trends and areas for technical improvement.
- Document technical requirements and provide actionable recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm updates and emerging SEO technologies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical SEO, with a proven track record of successful optimization projects.
- Deep understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and server-side technologies.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to identify and fix on-page technical issues.
- Experience with tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar SEO software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable results.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for business clients.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a contract setting.
