Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services for our client-facing applications.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex production issues occurring during off-peak hours.
- Implement security patches and perform routine database maintenance to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA) to refine deployment strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical night shift support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go and experience with SQL databases.
- Demonstrated experience working in a 24/7 operational environment or contract capacity.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work a fixed night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
