Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement complex software solutions using modern web technologies (React, Node.js, or Python).
- System Optimization: Analyze current codebases to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure all code adheres to industry best practices and security standards.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve critical bugs and technical issues in production and staging environments.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, API specs, and user guides.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular/Vue), and backend services.
- Database: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Agile: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately and willing to work on-site in El Paso, TX.
