Job Summary
The Senior SEO Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy to drive organic traffic and increase brand visibility. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including content creators, developers, and marketing analysts, to optimize web properties for search engines and users alike.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a full-service SEO strategy to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify and resolve site architecture issues, crawl errors, and performance bottlenecks.
- Lead keyword research and strategy, identifying high-value opportunities for content creation and optimization.
- Manage on-page and off-page SEO efforts, including link building campaigns and local SEO initiatives.
- Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools to report on ROI and KPIs.
- Collaborate with the web development team to implement schema markup, site speed improvements, and mobile optimization.
- Mentor junior SEO analysts and provide training on best practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of improving organic search rankings and traffic.
- Deep understanding of Googleβs algorithm updates (e.g., Panda, Penguin, Hummingbird, BERT).
- Proficiency in technical SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for basic troubleshooting and optimization.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- SEO certification (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads) is a plus.
