Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Spearhead the end-to-end design of quantum circuit architectures, optimizing for coherence times and error correction fidelity.
- Hybrid Systems: Develop seamless integration protocols between classical control systems and quantum processing units (QPUs).
- Roadmap Leadership: Define the technical roadmap for our quantum cloud platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Technical Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture, mentoring junior architects and researchers in advanced quantum algorithms.
- Collaboration: Partner with theoretical physicists and hardware engineers to translate scientific breakthroughs into production-ready systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 3 years specifically focused on quantum computing or advanced simulation.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil) and strong proficiency in Python, C++, and Rust.
- Deep Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of quantum error correction (QEC), surface codes, and fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex quantum concepts to diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
