Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable quantum computing architectures that align with long-term business goals.
- Lead the development and implementation of error correction protocols and quantum algorithms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers to optimize system performance.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum circuit designs before deployment.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in quantum mechanics and hardware to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in systems architecture, preferably with a focus on high-performance computing or quantum technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Strong understanding of quantum mechanics principles, including superposition and entanglement.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing complex projects from conception to delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think abstractly and strategically.
