The Role
You will be responsible for designing the architectural blueprints for our quantum cloud services, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and efficient. You will work closely with our research team to translate experimental findings into production-grade software.
Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable quantum algorithms and cloud infrastructure for Project 2026.
- Roadmap Planning: Define the technical roadmap, collaborating with product managers to align engineering goals with business objectives.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize existing systems for performance and reduce latency in high-compute environments.
- Research Integration: Translate theoretical research papers into practical code and prototype solutions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and conduct technical code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Security: Implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive data in quantum computing environments.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and investors.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in software architecture, with specific focus on high-performance computing or quantum computing.
- Languages: Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#.
- Cloud Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex engineering problems and innovate under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details clearly.
