Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prioritize innovation initiatives and allocate resources efficiently
- Create strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate R&D
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement pilot programs for breakthrough technologies
- Monitor ethical implications and regulatory landscapes for emerging tech solutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and driving successful implementation
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and risk assessment
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience securing funding for R&D initiatives and managing innovation budgets
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
