Work directly with Fortune 500 executives to decode megatrends, build predictive models, and launch ventures that redefine markets. This hybrid role blends deep research with high-stakes strategy sessions in our state-of-the-art SOMA innovation lab.
Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Trend Forecasts with quantitative impact models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build proprietary AI-driven trend detection systems using NLP and predictive analytics
- Advour C-suite clients on disruptive threats/opportunities across 15+ verticals
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global innovation summits
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, strategy consulting, or R&D leadership at tech-first firms
- Expertise in at least three domains: quantum computing, biotech convergence, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching ventures with >$50M ARR from trend insights
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent field
- Published thought leadership in HBR/Forbes/MIT Technology Review
- Proficiency in Python/R for trend modeling and Tableau for visualization
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3+ year trend predictions
