Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives identifying paradigm shifts through 2026 in AI ethics, neuro-interfaces, and climate tech
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography adoption
- Produce annual 'Future State' whitepapers distributed to Fortune 500 C-suite executives
- Chair cross-functional '2026 Readiness' task force with autonomous vehicle and robotics divisions
- Advocate for responsible AI governance standards in partnership with IEEE and Future of Humanity Institute
- Represent company at Davos, SXSW, and Singularity University summits
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling and trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Published author in peer-reviewed journals on AI existential risks or climate modeling
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or bio-digital convergence
- Proven track record influencing policy at federal/state level for tech regulation
- Fluency in predictive analytics tools (e.g., Gephi, Palisade @RISK)
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent experience
- Security clearance for classified national innovation initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend accuracy >85%
