Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design and execute scenario-planning frameworks for global tech adoption
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready features into roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications on sustainable innovation
- Mentor junior futurists and build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-AI, etc.)
- Strong background in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Experience with global foresight networks (e.g., WFSF, APF)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-shaping projects (publications, patents, etc.)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent preferred
