Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics frameworks for autonomous systems and generative AI products
- Lead cross-functional audits of algorithmic bias and fairness in production models
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical-by-design principles in MLOps pipelines
- Represent the company at global AI ethics summits and policy roundtables
- Create transparency documentation for high-stakes AI decision systems
- Champion ethical AI adoption through internal training and stakeholder education
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in AI Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years developing governance frameworks for enterprise AI systems
- Published research in algorithmic fairness or responsible AI (top-tier conferences)
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global AI regulatory landscapes
- Experience with bias detection tools (AIF360, Fairlearn) and model card creation
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical/non-technical audiences
