Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to identify opportunities for 2026+ horizon
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact trend reports and predictive analytics for board-level presentations
- Architect roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their commercial applications
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into tangible product/service roadmaps
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and market implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, Technology Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic positioning
