This role demands both strategic foresight and hands-on execution in a dynamic, high-impact environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and implement scenario-planning frameworks for long-term strategic decision-making
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market disruption potential
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities
- Pioneer methodologies for rapid prototyping and validation of futuristic concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of innovation projects from concept to market readiness
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating emerging trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI-driven analytics
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex innovation lifecycles
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (preferred)
