Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats through 2026-2030 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product innovation and market expansion using quantitative and qualitative methodologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into R&D, marketing, and corporate planning cycles
- Produce executive-level trend reports and white papers published at Davos and WEF summits
- Design and implement innovation incubators for emerging technologies with 18-month commercialization pipelines
- Maintain proprietary trend intelligence database using NLP and predictive analytics tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 8+ years in innovation/strategy roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or market transformations
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Palantir, TrendWatching, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Experience advising C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-back innovation initiatives
