You'll translate complex data into actionable insights while mentoring a high-performing team of futurists and innovation consultants.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps with quantifiable ROI projections for strategic business units
- Facilitate executive workshops on scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future trends and disruptive innovations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors and C-level executives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futures research or innovation strategy
- Experience mentoring innovation teams and building future-focused organizational capabilities
