Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing
- Lead cross-functional workshops using scenario planning and horizon scanning techniques
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings that shape industry discourse
- Manage a portfolio of experimental innovation projects with $5M+ budgets
- Mentor junior futurists while establishing thought leadership through keynotes and publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis for 3+ major industry transformations
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting platforms and data visualization tools
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACFC or Foresight Practitioner Program)
