Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic indicators to forecast 2026+ scenarios
- Develop innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients across AI, biotech, and climate tech sectors
- Lead immersive foresight workshops with C-suite executives to co-create future-proof strategies
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in MIT Technology Review and similar platforms
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio with measurable ROI on experimental ventures
- Mentor junior futurists using Horizon Labs' proprietary foresight framework
- Partner with R&D to prototype emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces)
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of scaling experimental technologies to market
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Experience publishing peer-reviewed research or industry-leading reports
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful innovation initiatives with measurable impact
