Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Produce forward-looking reports and scenario models for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking across departments
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption (blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario modeling expertise
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and socioeconomic megatrends
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Published thought leadership in future strategy publications
- Experience scaling innovation in enterprise environments
