Responsibilities
- Design & Develop: Architect, design, and implement scalable, high-performance web applications using modern technologies (React, Node.js, Python).
- System Architecture: Lead the technical design process, ensuring code quality, performance, and security best practices are followed.
- Database Management: Design and optimize complex database schemas and manage data migration strategies.
- API Development: Build robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs to serve front-end applications and third-party integrations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define feature requirements and deliverables.
- Testing & Deployment: Write unit and integration tests, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment to cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers within the team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a contract or freelance capacity.
- Frontend: Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Redux, and CSS frameworks (Tailwind/Bootstrap).
- Backend: Expertise in Node.js, Python, or Java. Experience with serverless architectures is a plus.
- Databases: Deep understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
- Tools: Proficient with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Flexibility: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
