Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Systems: Design and implement robust cloud-based architectures (AWS/Azure) capable of handling millions of concurrent users during peak match times.
- Lead Digital Transformation: Spearhead the technical strategy for the 2026 ticketing and fan engagement platforms, ensuring a frictionless digital journey.
- Real-Time Analytics: Develop systems to process and visualize real-time fan data, providing actionable insights for marketing and operations.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of frontend and backend engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and continuous delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers, product managers, and operations leads to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Crisis Management: Develop contingency plans and monitoring protocols to ensure 99.99% uptime and rapid recovery from potential cyber threats.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior capacity within the sports, entertainment, or large-scale event industries.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Vue.js), Node.js, Python, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Event Tech Background: Demonstrable experience working on high-traffic event applications or ticketing systems is highly preferred.
- Data Fluency: Strong understanding of database management (SQL/NoSQL) and data warehousing solutions.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead engineering teams through the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) in an Agile environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
