Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of data center infrastructure for 16 World Cup venues across the United States.
- Ensure real-time data synchronization and processing for ticketing, security, and fan engagement platforms.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery protocols to guarantee zero downtime during event phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy stadium systems with next-generation IoT solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish best practices for cloud-native architecture and security compliance.
- Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot complex network issues to maintain 99.99% uptime.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Data Operations, or Network Architecture.
- Strong proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Experience working on large-scale, high-visibility events or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
