Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable energy) with commercial viability analysis
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members with data-driven insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio including pilot programs and strategic partnerships
- Coordinate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to integrate future technologies into current offerings
- Author thought leadership reports and represent the company at global tech summits
- Mentor junior strategists and build an internal innovation framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy (MBA/MSc preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, blockchain, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis skills with proficiency in Python, SQL, and visualization tools
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex transformation initiatives
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry publications
