Responsibilities
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Redshift, and S3
- Optimize data warehouse performance through advanced SQL and partitioning strategies
- Develop real-time data streaming solutions with Kafka and Spark Streaming
- Create automated data quality monitoring frameworks using dbt and Great Expectations
- Collaborate with data scientists to build ML-ready datasets
- Document data architecture and maintain data governance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio)
- Proven track record with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect)
- Strong experience with data warehousing and data lake architectures
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) a plus
- Ability to deliver solutions in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
