Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and respond to potential threats.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing activities.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with federal frameworks such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
- Lead incident response investigations, performing forensic analysis and root cause determination.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices across the network.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network defense.
- Strong knowledge of network security architecture and protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud security environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
