Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline
- Optimize cloud costs through resource monitoring and architectural improvements
- Implement security best practices including IAM policies and network security
- Automate deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for production systems
- Mentor junior engineers on cloud architecture principles
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering with AWS or GCP
- Expertise in container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE)
- Strong proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Certifications in AWS/GCP (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
