Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS or Azure.
- Migration Strategy: Spearhead the migration of legacy systems to modern cloud environments, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Security Compliance: Enforce enterprise-grade security standards, IAM policies, and ensure full compliance with SOC2 and HIPAA regulations.
- Cost Management: Analyze cloud resource usage to identify optimization opportunities and reduce operational expenditure.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior developers and engineers, conducting technical code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate complex technical requirements into actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders and project managers.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, software engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is mandatory.
- IaC Proficiency: Expert-level experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Containerization: Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and scripting.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
