Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Research: Define and execute the technical roadmap for the 2026 AI architecture, focusing on large-scale transformer models and reinforcement learning.
- Model Development: Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art machine learning models capable of handling complex, multi-modal data inputs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams to translate theoretical research into deployable APIs and consumer-facing features.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior researchers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team.
- Ethical AI Oversight: Ensure all models adhere to safety guidelines, bias mitigation protocols, and transparency standards.
- Publication & Patenting: Author high-impact research papers for top-tier conferences and secure patents for proprietary algorithms.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
- Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience in machine learning research and development, with a proven track record of publications in venues like NeurIPS, ICML, or ACL.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Deep understanding of NLP, Computer Vision, or Graph Neural Networks.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and architect systems that remain relevant and scalable in a rapidly evolving tech landscape (2026 vision).
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
