Responsibilities
- Architect & Design: Design and implement scalable, high-performance AI models for real-time decision-making in dynamic environments.
- Neuromorphic Engineering: Develop algorithms that optimize energy efficiency for battery-powered robotic systems.
- Model Training: Lead the training pipelines for Large Language Models (LLMs) integrated with Computer Vision.
- Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers to optimize model inference on edge devices.
- Mentorship: Guide a team of junior data scientists and ML engineers to foster a culture of innovation.
- R&D: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies like embodied AI and reinforcement learning.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years specifically in robotics or embedded systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; experience with CUDA and GPU acceleration.
- Systems: Deep understanding of ROS (Robot Operating System) and sensor fusion techniques.
- Innovation: Proven track record of publishing research papers or shipping complex AI products to market.
- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
